What You Should Know: The Humanitarian Crisis in Somalia/Kenya

I’m thinking I’d like to start a blog category called, “What You Should Know.”  I’ve been privileged to travel around the world, and I’m connected with ministries and missionaries all over the world who are telling the world’s stories. I’d love to share that with you so that you will know… so you will have a face that goes with the news story… so you will be burdened to act and to pray.

Today’s “What You Should Know” – The Humanitarian Crisis in Somalia/Kenya

See all the pictures here: THE BOSTON GLOBE

I found this photo blog today from the Boston Globe. Nothing tells a story better than pictures. It’s absolutely unacceptable that this is happening in our world. What should we do about it? What will you do about this crisis? Leave a comment below.

  1. Dang I am with you. Saw some photos and it has just not left my mind.

Prayer has come first and foremost- and in the midst of prayer I felt in my Spirit- God was asking “Instead of what you can’t do, what can you do?”

So I woke up this morning and decided to sponsor a child.

I think you said it…. we need a face to go with a news story. I’m hanging on to hope for Somalia/Kenya.

Well, what do you think?
